Oh, life has been a ride lately! Between the craziness (and fun) of the holidays, family health issues, planning for major changes that may or may not take place, and a surprising 'bump in the road', we have had an eventful few months! I cannot even put into words how a giggle or hilarious comment from the girls just makes life so much fun, no matter what else is going on! Over the last few months, the girls have rocked out to lots of Taylor Swift (iPods are the best invention EVER) and created multiple works of art with crayons (many of which are mysteriously 'lost' by the next day).Isabel is turning 7 in a couple of weeks. To celebrate, we are taking a trip to Chicago to visit the American Girl store and Shedd Aquarium. As much as this sounds like a 'girl trip', I think Jason and I are looking forward to it as much as the girls! After that, we are having an American Girl Birthday Party at our house...it is a Mystery Party, which means that each girl plays a role in a skit to solve the mystery of Kit's (one of the AG characters) mother's missing necklace. It will either be lots of fun, or a disaster. I will let you know soon (I promise!!!)which it turns out to be!

Hi Amber! So great to see your update. Great pictures of the girls - they're so cute! Love your Christmas tree and decorations, too. Also, I second Robin - what bump??? Baby bump? Can't wait to hear more about how things have been going in good ole Mo'town. Have fun in Chicago!!! ;)
