Isabel is a huge fan of school and an even bigger fan of language arts. Her favorite games involve spelling and reading. So, I was not surprised when these interests showed up in her free time at home. One such example is labels. I noticed on the very first day of school (actually, it was the supply drop-off day) that most things in the
kindergarten classroom were labelled. Very cute...until said labels started showing up all over my house. Whenever Isabel has free time, she starts labelling things in her room. For the sake of education, I have overlooked many paper scraps around the house and wads of tape that didn't come off of the roll smoothly...until now. I think she may have crossed the line. The other day, she expanded her labelling into her sister's room...while her sister was napping. I will let the pictures tell the story:
She labelled her light switch...I don't know about the brown blob:

Her bookshelf:

Her American Girl, Mia's Bed:

This one says 'Fish
Tranc':

Ashlen's tub of Bitty Baby stuff:

And, what is this?

Yes, she labelled her sister:

While Ashlen was happily dreaming about sugarplums and 'yittle hot dogs', her sister was putting a label on her back...I guess I should just be happy that she doesn't know about 'kick me' yet!

That is quite possibly one of the funniest things I have ever seen. I see a future teacher here!!! Thanks for sharing. That was a bright spot in my day. :)
I love it...Very cute for her scrapbook!
That is hilarious. You know the apple doesn't fall far from the tree ;)
A girl after my own heart! I think she needs a label maker for her next birthday! I might have to go ahead and get that now, wrap it up, and label it just so I'll be ready for January!
I knew I loved that girl!
